Since Nov. 2022 (so about 1 year) About me: I enjoy facilitating investment into our community that creates high-quality jobs for our citizens.
Tell us about your organization and your role there.
I’ve been with the DCEDP since March 2016 and became director in Jan. 2017. We’re a 501c3 private non-profit contracted with the local municipalities & county to lead economic development efforts. We were founded in 2005 and have seen over $1.6B of investment in our county.
What are your economic development specialties?
My specialties include advising elected officials on economic development decisions, marketing, entrepreneurial mentorship, local incentive negotiation, and coordination of site selection.
What are your favorite places and things to do in your community?
I enjoy playing golf at DeKalb County’s golf courses and throughout the Northeast Indiana region. My wife’s preferences include walking our dog along the trails in our greater community and visiting one of the county's three wineries for live music. Together, we enjoy discovering all the places to eat and spending time at the many local hangouts.
